Sunday 28th June
We set sail at either 07.30am or 1.45pm (you choose your outbound sailing time) with Irish Ferries from Dublin to Holyhead, docking at either 11am or 17.15
From Holyhead, it's a 3 hour cruise to our overnight stay at the Priest House Hotel, right beside Donington Park. The Priest House hotel is an old water mill, nestled on the banks of the river trent. It's a fantastic location with huge amounts of secure parking for trailers. The circuit is a 5 minute drive away.

Day 2 starts with breakfast at the hotel. Donington circuit is literally next door to the hotel so thankfully a super early start won't be necessary.
Much like Oulton, Donington will be familiar to those of us who have watched the British Touring Car Championship, Superbikes or British GT over the years. It's a fast, flowy, power circuit with nice elevation changes, but it's the whole Craner Curves section that really stars here!
Starting at Redgate corner, you plunge downhill through the Craners, then Old Harpin (which is now very much not a hairpin) then you start to climb up to Starkey's Bridge, then it's the tricky McLean's and then the blind crest of Coppice. That whole section is a real challenge and very fast! in fact, the whole track is very fast!
The trackday schedule is as follows:
After the track closes it's a 1hr 45 min drive to our 2nd overnight stay, The McDonald Portal, beside Oulton Park

Ride onboard with BTCC legend Gordon Sheddon for a qualifying lap of Donington Park
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, it's just a 10 minute drive down the road to Oulton Park Circuit. Oulton Park is without question, one of the best circuits in the UK and is located in the picturesque Little Budworth Country Park. It's famous for it's combination of high speed corners, elevation changes and blind crests. It's a fast, flowing circuit that will have you grinning from ear to ear. personally, it's my favorite circuit in the UK!

Iconic corners such as Druids, Island Bend, Knickerbrook and Old Hall bring back memories of epic BTCC battles over the years!
The trackday schedule is as follows:

Oulton Park > Holyhead
After the track closes it's a just under 2 hours drive back to Holyhead to catch the 19.30 ferry back to Dublin
