Noise limit at Mondello Park (Track Day Rules)
Mondello Park operates a 105 dBA drive-by noise limit.
- Noise is monitored on track (drive-by)
- If you fail, you’ll be black-flagged
- A second fail means you’ll be finished for the day
If you’re unsure about your setup, message us before booking — we’d rather help you get it right than see your day cut short.
What the day looks like (schedule & format)
Mondello track days are designed to keep things moving while giving everyone plenty of track time.

You’ll get clear instructions on the day — and if it’s your first time, we’ll point you in the right direction so you can build confidence quickly.
The typical format of one of our track days is as follows:
- 9am – Sign on
- 9.30am – Safety briefing
- 10am – Familiarisation session for first timers
- 10.10 – Pitlane opens for the morning track session
- 1pm – Lunch break & sign on for drivers booked for the afternoon session
- 1.30pm – Briefing for drivers booked for the afternoon session
- 2pm – Familiarisation session for first timers
- 2.10pm – Pitlane opens for the afternoon track session
- 5.30pm – Chequered flag signals the end of the track day
Requirements (who can drive?)
- Age 18+ (drivers and passengers)
- A full driving licence
- A helmet (bring your own or rent one)
Insurance & safety
Track days are motorsport activities. We provide public liability cover for participants, but there is no insurance coverage for damage to your vehicle.

FAQs — Mondello Park Track Days
Is a Mondello track day suitable for beginners?
Yes. Around half of our drivers are first-timers. You’ll get a mandatory briefing, and the day is structured so you can build pace safely.
Can I share the car with a friend?
Yes — add an extra driver (€55) during booking (or contact us if you’re unsure).
Can I bring a passenger?
Yes — passenger rides (€25) are available (must be 18+).
Do you rent helmets?
Yes — helmet rental is €30, but availability is limited.
What time does the day start and finish?
Exact timings are confirmed in your booking info and pre-event email, but typically 10am -5.30pm in summer and 9.30 - dark in winter.
What’s the noise limit at Mondello Park?
105 dBA drive-by. If you fail, you’ll be black-flagged; a second fail ends your track time.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellations/rescheduling are allowed up to 48 hours prior. If the event is oversubscribed, we may be able to offer your space to the reserve list.
