Nankang AR1 Track Day Tyre

We’ve gone through a couple of sets on the Trackdays.ie Civics and found them excellent and in terms of feel, there was no noticeable difference between them and the (albeit ageing) Toyo R888R’s that were previously fitted. They gripped well from cold, (which is backed up by a lot of UK sprint & hillclimb competitors using them) got up to temperature in a lap or two and didn’t fade when hot. Wear rate was comparable with the Toyo’s too. All in all, a great tyre for the price.

The AR-1 tyre is List 1B rated and is ideal for trackday use but is, despite appearances, also E marked and fully road legal!

For non-physical products eg trackday bookings or driver coaching, cancellations reschedule requests may be made up to 48 hours prior to an event without penalty. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of an event can not be refunded or rescheduled to another date.
