Extreme VR3 (NK) Full Wet Rain Tyre. E Marked For Road Use
Full-wet rain tyre, providing exceptional traction and precision on wet and dirty surfaces. The directional tread pattern has been developed for the most effective draining of water from the tyre and road contact surface. The rubber compound in this model has been especially modified in order to maximize performance in rainy conditions.
Compounds Explained:
HL (Hot Lap / Super Soft) Perfect for sprints, hillclimbs or any situation where you need the tyre to 'turn on' immediately. Intended for dry/damp conditions but will also perform better in the wet than harder compounds. Has the highest wear rating.
- Optimal operating temps 0-40 °C
- Treadwear 50
R5A (Soft) Ideal for Motorsport applications, perhaps better suited to lightweight cars or for colder weather. Intended for dry/damp conditions.
- Optimal operating temps 15-50 °C
- Treadwear 80
R7A (Medium) Ideal for Motorsport applications, perhaps better suited to heavier or more powerful cars or longer competitive stints. Intended for dry conditions.
- Optimal operating temps 30-80 °C.
- Treadwear 140
S3 (Street) Ideal for road & track applications eg trackdays, perhaps better suited to heavier or more powerful cars or longer competitive stints. Intended for dry conditions.
- Optimal operating temps 30-80 °C.
- Treadwear 220
W5 Full wet rain tyre. Soft compound. Rally, damp/wet
- Optimal operating temps 20-40 °C.

Important Safety Notice:
Please note, always follow tyre care and safety guidelines when selecting and using Extreme Performance Tyres. All Extreme Performance Tyres have been designed for competition use and even though they are road legal, they are NOT intended for everyday use and driving on public roads. The E1 homologation confirms that the tyres meet safety standards, however, they should not be used outside of their intended use, as this may result in unexpected loss of vehicle control which may result in a crash, serious personal injury or even death. Please see the Extreme Performance Tyres tyre safety and guidelines for more in depth details before use.
