Trackdays.ie Dyno Day at STONE Motorsport - June 24th

Time for something a bit different! We're always looking for ways we can diversify improve on what we do here at Trackdays.ie and with that in mind the next even we're running isn't a trackday at all but a Dyno Day which will take place at STONE Motorsport on Saturday June 24th.

What is a dyno day? A dyno day is where a group of like-minded car enthusiasts (that's you) all get together and bring their road, race, rally or drift cars to a dyno to measure their engine's performance. By getting a large group of people all booked in on the same day we get the whole place to ourselves and get a much much cheaper rate.

We're running the dyno day at STONE Motorsport's state of the art facility and using their rolling road. The aptly named and hugely experienced Joe Power runs the dyno & is arguably Ireland's foremost authority on engine mapping.

How it works:

Your car will be strapped down to the dyno, once it's warmed up and connected to the dyno software you'll get a couple of power runs to measure brake horse power and torque as well as info on air/fuel ratio. You'll get print outs of all this to take away too. Joe will also be on hand to offer advice on the general performance of your engine and suggest potential improvements to make it run more safely or produce more power.

What's included?

Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there will also be a tour round the premises. You'll get a look into the fabrication shop and at some of the ongoing projects and a behind the scenes look at some of the incredible cars being prepared for various forms of competition. We'll also have the full range of Trackdays.ie merchandise available on the day including jackets, hoodies, hats and stickers as well as our range of Mobil 1 Motorsport oils and coolants.

It should be a fantastic day and a chance to have a bit of craic with some like minded people. As I mentioned above you'll also get print outs of your power runs to take away.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the day is €55 per car (normally €80) The price includes lunch for you and a guest, should you want to bring one.

For the dyno day to go ahead we need 20 cars booked in by the 10th June!
